Simple and elegant. I'm not sure all the empty black area is needed but a good shot nevertheless.

Elegant indeed, although composition could be stronger. The lighting and timing provide an appearance to the smoke as if it were a fabric. A tighter crop would make smoke have the presence it deserves, without having to compete with the darkness below it. Nicely done.
